Photographs of M Fatin and his Museum inside Chateau d'hautpoul at Rennes-le-Chateau

Inside Chateau d'Hautpoul at Rennes-le-Chateau

Photographs by Ben Hammott.

To retain details these images are large so they will take longer to load.

Mr. Marius Fatin showing one off his fossils - a dinosaur embryo.

Plaster cast of the bas-relief from Sauniere's grave.

He used to tell visitors to his museum that the framed sock seen in the top of the photo used to belong to Sauniere, but Fatin admitted it didn't, it was one of his socks.

This is the first cast he Mr. Fatin made, laying amongst the clutter of his museum.

The model of the chateau standing on the tree stump is just one of the many he has made over the tears.

Most of the objects he found either in the chateau, its grounds or around the village.

Part of his display. Including two models of the chateau and one of Rennes-le-Chateau village.
